So as we put the finishing touches on our Steve’s Store in NYC, many of you have been asking where you can find Steve’s in the meantime… We’ve been doing our best to get Steve’s out there by participating in local events – the Montauk Humane Society Walk, All Tomorrows Parties Concert, Fort Green Park Concerts, and the Bridgehampton Polo Challenge – and we’re so excited that YOU are all so excited for our new store!! So we thank you for your patience and promise it will be well worth the wait :)
We think of our soon to be store as our “test kitchen” where we share our signature flavors – both Craft Ice Cream & Craft Dairy Free – as well as our seasonal/farmstand and holiday inspired flavors and works in progress. We can’t wait to get your feedback on the flavors in our store so that we can listen to your comments to put the finishing touches on some amazing combinations… So be thinking of fall flavors and post your ideas on this bog or on our Facebook Fan Page!!
Until then you can find our pints in the Hamptons at an ADORABLE farm stand - The Milk Pail Store. This farm stand has been selling produce from their family’s farm as well as local goods for over 30 years! The Farm is run by the Halsey Family who have been farming in Watermill/Bridgehampton since the 1640s. Today, the owners and founders of The Milk Pail Store & Orchard, John and Evelyn Halsey, along with their daughters Amy and Jennifer, are the 11th and 12th generation of Halseys carrying on a farming tradition that began more than 350 years ago. We’re pretty proud to have our pints sold at such a landmark family farm stand! This summer we made many flavors from Milk Pail Orchard produce including Fresh Apricot Frozen Yogurt and Roasted Sweet Corn Ice Cream. We’re getting ready to go apple picking at Milk Pail Orchard in the next few weeks so start brainstorming some fun Apple-centric flavors!
Also – remember that you can come by for a scoop of Steve’s this Sunday at the Brooklyn Flea at One Hanson, right next to Atlantic Terminal in Brooklyn. It’s the perfect weekend to make a trip to the Flea because there are all sorts of outdoor festivities right in front of the Flea along Atlantic Avenue (from Hicks to 4th Avenue) for the Atlantic Antic street fair – a celebration of over 600 vendors and 9 stages of performance/music. If you haven’t been its not to be missed – just don’t forget to pop into the Brooklyn Flea for a scoop of Steve’s before you leave.
